recipe: clean-out-the-fridge pasta

10 minute easy pasta

When school is in session, I'm faced with many nights where I have to decide between cooking a (healthy) dinner, spending a little time at the gym, catching up on household chores, or doing homework. Typically I can get two things done in a night, and 99% of the time one of those things has to be school-related. If my time is this crunched when I get home at 5:30, what happens when I have to stay at work late and don't get home until 7 or later?

This meal happens.

This isn't as much of a recipe as it is an easy, quick meal that cleans out your fridge.

10-minute clean-out-your-fridge pasta

  • One package whole wheat pasta
  • Sauce of your choosing (I used roma tomato alfredo)
  • Smoky sundried tomatoes
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh parmesan
  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Are directions really needed? Make pasta. Cook chicken. Toss everything together. Devour.
