I took a short break to recover from knitting that blanket from Mother’s Day, and now I’m back at it! I’m having so much fun knitting again, and I’m planning tons of new projects that’ll be ready just in time for our cold weather.
The first project on the left is a chunky rib scarf for Johnny. I cast on 56 stitches and have been doing a k8p8 pattern. The purple yarn is for a similar scarf for me. That one will probably be 48 stitches in a k4p4 pattern. The yarn on the right is for another blanket for our house. Not pictured is the yarn that’ll be used for an awesome shawl. I’m so excited to get that kit and start playing with the pattern.
Whew, four projects should take me through the end of 2015, right?
I’m on the lookout for an easy lace-style shawl/wrap pattern for my stash of Madelinetosh prairie yarn. If you have any good (and super easy) patterns, let me know! You can also find me on Ravelry if you’re on there.
