Raise your hand if you love football season!
College football is my jam, and not just because it's exciting. Football season also means tons of delicious food. Going out to watch your team's away game is fun, but I prefer hosting watch parties at home and making food. I first learned about these drumsticks from the @dirtytowhole30 instagram page, and they are the first thing to disappear when I set them out. They taste like delicious wings, but are baked instead of fried and are a lot more substantial than wings. Toss these in the oven before a game and watch them instantly disappear.
Side note: It's pretty difficult to get a picture of three drumsticks to look appetizing, but trust me here…this is worth it.
frank's red hot drumsticks
You only need some drumsticks, Frank's Red Hot, olive oil, and salt and pepper for this.
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Pat the drumsticks dry and generously season with salt and pepper. Place the drumsticks on a oiled (or nonstick foiled) baking tray and drizzle with olive oil. Bake the drumsticks for 30 minutes. Remove the drumsticks from the oven and smother them in Frank's Red Hot. Be generous here if you love the heat. Put them back in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or when the skin is nice and golden crispy.
Make these for your next football party and be amazed at how fast they go.
