Oh man, I can’t believe how insane it’s been lately. I’ve been going through some big changes at work, and by the end of the day I either don’t want to stare at a computer screen anymore or I’m crazy busy at home or with the robust social schedule Johnny had going for us. Now he’s back in classes and things are calming down a bit at work. I still don’t want to stare at a computer screen after work, but a few minutes won’t kill my eyes too much more.
We’ve done a lot of fun things this month. From seeing Deadpool to spending a night in downtown St. Pete to buying new bedroom furniture to cooking yummy foods, it’s been go go go around here. It’s all been fun, but I’m ready to settle back into my routine again.
I’ve been making good progress on my goals for this month. My active streak is still going on my activity tracker, and I’ll write a post about that sometime soon. I haven’t been reading (oops), but I’ve been making killer progress knitting a scarf for Johnny. I’m using knitting as my “excuse” to turn away from my computer for 15 or 20 minutes a day at work.
One big thing that happened this month was the cancellation of my yoga teacher training program. There were some cancellations that took the class below minimum enrollment levels, so I have my weekends back. I still want to do this training, but now I think I may wait until next year. Johnny and I are really close to having a good down payment for a house (!!!), so anything to help save money is a good thing right now.
Everything is still going over in the corner of the world. I’m making it all work still, and that’s what matters to me.
